Director

Stuart is the firm’s Finance Director, with responsibility for financial planning and control across the practice. He also manages a small but varied portfolio of clients, including a number operating within the charities sector.

Stuart trained and qualified with the firm, before a spell away from practice as finance director for a UK based catering company. Missing the variety of work to be found in general practice, he returned to Venthams in 1999, to head the finance function and lead on business development and profit generation. His areas of responsibility now include the professional development of the firm’s staff.

Stuart’s interest in the not for profit sector continues away from work, acting as trustee or treasurer for a number of local organisations. He balances this with service as a Territorial Army officer; whilst relaxation is provided by playing tennis and time spent with family.
